August 2006

It's August……………! And you can now say we are half way there!

Magaluf and Palma Nova are in full swing with parties every where.

A great atmosphere during the day and night makes it once again a great holiday destination.

The beaches in Calvia are again awarded with the Blue flag, this flag stands for being well maintained and overall cleanliness of the sand and sea water.

What's happening in Magalluf…………and where to go during your holidays!

Well a few changes here and there in the bar and club scene but all for the better we would say.

The club scene has improved this year with plenty of choice for the party people among you. Bora Bora Beach club with host no other then Des Mitchell brings you house music at its best.

Some good parties are thrown during the week with a topper being Retro night. It is a club to be seen at. The music is strictly house, brought to you by Des Mitchell himself. Des Mitchell is well known in the music world and hit the road to fame when he brought out "Welcome to the Dance" a few years ago.

Workers Parties are held every Thursday starting at around 12 midnight with guest Dj's from the local bars and clubs in Magalluf and Palma Nova.

BCM is a great club to be, during the early evening you can start your evening out by visiting BCM Sports and Baywatch bar right behind the main club. There is a massive screen where sport events are shown, table dancers and plenty of other entertainment that will get you in the mood for an all-nighter easy.

Poco loco is the party club in town, with resident Dj Brett every night is a winner. Tuesday nights is reserved for Pleasure Rooms from Liverpool with Liverpool's best DJ's Karl Gwynne, Lee M, and DJ Carlos! They are there with a great MC Team, Paul OH, MC Benji and Rory O!

Two new bars have been added to the bars section, one is called Alex's Place where you can find the best Indie, RnB and Hip Hop music around and where you can find some of the best looking waitresses in town, The other bar is called Top Dogs where during the day they serve you the best Hot dogs in town and you can find some tasty home made sausages made with various spices and flavors such as Tomato and Basil, Pepper and herbs and Pork Leek. Both are definitely worth a visit during your holidays, Just let them know you have seen them on Shagalluf.com you might get an extra smile.
